I recently got into gold for investment. I bought about $25k worth of bars and coins from TD Precious metals. I dropped into a local pawn shop just to see what they would pay per ounce. Now I paid about an average of $3300 Cnd an ounce with premium. Kitco was paying about $3100 an ounce to buy that day and the pawn shop? They offered me $2800 an ounce. I couldn’t believe it, a $500 hit on every ounce. I would have lost about $3500 on my entire investment if I had sold to them which I never would. I’m just wondering where the best place to sell if I ever have to liquidate?
